Are you ready to get started? Whether you're a seasoned online poker player or new to playing online altogether, we're confident you'll enjoy the following online poker rooms:
Best rooms for North American Players:
Pacific Poker is still a relatively new poker room compared to some, but has a largely established player base thanks to existing patrons from its massive sister casino, Casino on Net. The software is relatively simple, but has a nice look and feel and is intuitive to use from the lobby to the games themselves. Because Pacific poker only recently added pot limit and no limit games, there are still a large percentage of players on the table limit games if that is your preference.
Enjoyed by millions of players Party Poker is hands-down the largest poker room there is, including off-line rooms in the biggest of land-based casinos. The software doesn't look state-of-the-art anymore, but more than does the job, and the player base more than makes up for any lack of visual appeal there may be. One of those places you really have to try at least once if you're into online poker.
Prima poker is not an individual poker room in itself, but rather a network of poker rooms using Microgaming software and sharing players and tables. This allows each poker room on the network to have a constant large supply of players, which means you should have a relatively easy time finding a game to your liking here. There are a few visual differences between the different brands operating under the Prima poker name, but other than that really no differences between each licensee other than the sign-up bonuses and other promotions they may offer.
It's a great looking poker room, but doesn't have the critical mass of players quite yet it needs to make it a regular place to play. There are however, some inferior low-limit players here, which makes it a good place to find berry patches if you're into lower limit holdem games.
Best poker rooms for European Players:
This poker room is intentionally geared mainly towards Europeans, though North Americans are permitted to play. Transactions (deposits and withdrawals) are done in Euros, which may turn off American players, but is certainly a bonus for those whose native currency it is. There is a good crowd of players here, but the competition is a little stiffer than some other rooms across the board on the higher limit tables.
Interpoker is another poker room geared mainly towards European players. Owned and operated by the same group that runs InterCasino, customer service is top-notch and the promotions for new players are above average when compared to other poker rooms. All in all it's a fun piece of software offering a good spread of game types.
