The InterPoker poker site is run by the group of people in charge of InterCasino, one of the largest and a well respected online casino. This has resulted in a migration of casino gamblers from InterCasino to InterPoker as they have become interested in poker. However, the resulting poker players tend to have less experience in playing poker than players at other poker rooms and this should be kept in mind if you have a desire to sharpen your poker skills by challenging experienced poker players.
The software used by InterPoker has both a good look to it and it plays well, the result is a small but acceptable player base compared to the player bases of other poker rooms. Texas Hold'em ring games are playable with InterPoker offering tables for six and ten players and table limit, pot limit, and no limit betting. However the tournament action is not as good as only 10 seat tables are offered and with the relatively small player base filling a table sometimes takes a while. Multi-table poker tournaments also experience the same problems; no game variety and minimal players available to play.
Although InterPoker would not be on a short list of the best poker rooms on the net it does have a couple of things to recommend it to players. For a start it has a very detailed table browser that shows players; the average pot size, the number of hands played per hour, and the average number of players who look at the flop. They also offer a nice little bonus in the form of a bad beat jackpot, it starts out at $2,500 and $250 is added to it daily if not claimed.
